Some common requests that I don't do for this reason include:

• Professional Sports Teams
• Quotes that aren't in the public domain (which generally means quotes by people who didn't die before 1923 or books/movies not published before 1923)

Important info about trademarks: I check every saying to ensure it is not infringing on trademarks before listing them in my shop but it is important to know that trademarks are retroactive - so if someone trademarks a saying later, they can still enforce it even if you purchased it when it wasn't trademarked.

For that reason, if you sell shirts or other physical products, it is important to double check that nothing has changed by doing a quick search with the USPTO (https://www.uspto.gov/trademark)

This was a great pattern. I purchased it because it was recommended by my professor. We needed to make an apron and this was just beautiful. The directions were easy to follow and if you got confused then you could look at the accompanying pictures to help you out. I have been sewing since 2005 (freshmen year of high school) but I mainly quilt and craft. I do not do much apparel but this pattern was great for someone who felt nervous about making clothing. One thing I would suggest is measure the length you want. I did not do this because I didn’t want to stray from the pattern at all but I do wish the finished product was a little longer.

I liked this and was able to make the apron, but the only difficulty I had which makes me give it 4 stars was that the instructions for the neckline were very hard (for me) to understand. The rest was easy and very specific, but the neckline directions didn't quite make sense to me. That could just be me, of course, so I eliminated the neckline on the finished apron, but the rest of it turned out very nicely! Thank you!!
