Amazing and inspiring guide to buying and wearing vintage clothes and accessories.

Harriet Love was possibly the first person to open a dedicated vintage shop in the USA, and this book - published in 1982 - passes on some of her best tips. The book tells you what clothes to look for from every era, going back to the Victorian era, and suggests ways they might be worn as part of your everyday wardrobe. There's several well known faces modelling the clothes - yes, that is Geena Davis on the cover and, yes again, that is Madonna in the spread modelling a jacket!

The book has a really helpful glossary and great guide on simple adjustments to make clothes fit perfectly making this essential reading for vintage collectors.
