Archaeopteryx was an ancient, extremely bird-like Dinosaur from the Jurassic. Discovered only a couple of years after Darwin wrote On the Origin of Species, this clearly feathered bird with teeth, fingered wings and a long tail was clear evidence of the link between reptiles and birds. Archaeopteryx lived before many well known, specialised and less-bird like dinosaurs, too. Despite this, it still took many years for most to accept that birds are dinosaurs.

Time to evolve... go take flight and live your dreams.
