A wonderful vintage teakettle from Kamenstein of Germany in the form of a fish. The cute details range from the fin for a handle on the lid to plastic bubbles emanating from the pour spout, which double as a little lever for the red lid on the spout.

Remains of the original label are on the bottom.

Size: Capacity of 8 cups (64 oz), more when filled to the brim. This is a full size teakettle.

Condition: The exterior enamel of the fish and lid is perfect with no chips or scratches. The bottom shows light wear, with no scorching. The interior has some rust around the pour spout (but rust is oxidized iron and is not harmful to ingest - the body requires iron). The rust in that spot appears to be a typical occurrence with this particular pot. The whistle blows with a pleasant mellow tone.

NOTE: Etsy does not have a shipping calculator. The shipping cost shown is a maximum possible amount, based on coast to coast shipping, and will be lower for you unless you are on the West Coast. Please feel free to contact me for a quote - I refund shipping charges of $2 or greater than actual.
