Q: Is it available in gold?

A: Yes - it has its own listing:

Q: I want to use this as an engagement ring - what metal and stone is best?

A: Gold takes daily wear and tear much better than sterling, and of the available stone options, sapphire and moissanite are the most durable (9, and 9.5 out of 10 on the MOHS scale of hardness.)

That being said, I recognize that everyone's budget is different, or that some prefer the look of the silver version more. If you choose silver, I recommend not wearing it in the shower, hot tubs or while swimming (the chlorine eats at the metal), or doing physical activities like lifting weights, construction, or contact sports.

Q: Can I have it set with a stone other than the ones currently available?:

A: Yes, but prices may vary. Please contact me.

Q: Where do you ship to?

A: Please click the button "Shipping and Policies" to see all available countries.

Q: If I order this and it doesn't fit, what can be done?

A: If your ring has a citrine or topaz, it will need to be exchanged. Please leave the ring in unworn condition, and contact me for exchange details. If your ring has a sapphire or moissanite, it can be sized. The cost of the shipping to/from me will be the responsibility of the customer.

Q: Will you plate it in rhodium or gold?

A: No. I don't do any plating. All plating wears off over time, and I would prefer to provide a quality product that does not need frequent maintenance.

Q: Can I have the inside engraved?

A: I am currently not offering engraving as a service.

Q: Can I have this faster than the specified turnover time?

A: I have a fee of $50 for rush orders, if I have the time and ability to offer them. Please contact me prior to or within 24 hours of purchase to ensure this service is available.

Q: Does it come in a ring box?

A: It comes in a flat gift box with my store's logo to save on shipping fees.

I bought a ring for my maid of honor from this shop. The size ran true, it was shipped very nicely, and the the shop owner were nice. My only complaint is that it took six weeks to get it. But that's acceptable when o remember that is came from out of country and she probably had to make it. I had a very positive experience overall. Thank you

Shipping

Shipping from Canada
Ready to ship in
4 - 5 weeks
- All items are shipped Canada Post Expedited, which includes tracking and $100 insurance coverage. It is up to the customer to request full insurance, and costs will vary. It takes 2-3 business days to ship within Canada, 5-6 days to the United States, and 11-12 days for some International countries, barring any customs delays.

- Ready to ship items are sent out within 1-3 business days, as long as the order comes in before 12pm on a Friday.

- Made to Order items generally take 3-4 weeks for creation, and are shipped within 1-2 days of their completion. These lead times are subject to change as my order queue fills.

- I do not write GIFT on international customs forms.

- Custom items are shipped upon completion, approval from the customer (via photos), and final payments are made. Custom items can take anywhere from 4-8 weeks, depending on how much time is needed for the design process, material sourcing and shipping, and processes out of my control such as casting (which I unfortunately am not able to do at my own studio.) Every custom item is unique, and you will be given an estimated time based on complexity.

I am not responsible for the following:

- Import fees, tariffs, or taxes imposed by your country, province or state.

- Delivery delays. There is little to nothing I can do if your parcel has been delayed due to customs, weather, or slowness on the part of your local carrier.

- Shipping fees resulting from an incorrectly provided address that I was not made aware of before shipping.

- Shipping fees resulting from ring size exchanges in which I was provided an incorrect ring size.

- Customs fees that I pay as a result of jewellery sent back to me for size exchange or alteration.

- Lost or stolen packages. I insure the majority of my jewellery for $100 coverage only, in order to keep shipping costs to you as low as possible. If you would like your item fully insured, the cost will vary and it is up to you as the customer to select this during checkout. If the item becomes lost or stolen in transit and you did not request full insurance, I will replace the missing item at cost (50% of retail).

Returns & exchanges

** "Made to Order" is defined as an item from my collection with customizations that are made available in the listing, such as size, finish type, stone options and metal colour**

** "Custom" is defined as an item created specifically for a customer that does not come from one of my collections, or is an item with a customization not offered as an option in the listing, such as a specifically requested gemstone.

- Returns on made-to-order items will incur a 20-30% restocking fee, depending on the item in question. The fee percentage depends on the cost of materials and time that went into making your item.

- There are no refunds or exchanges for custom items, at all.

- Size exchanges are possible for unworn or very lightly worn rings, and I have been contacted prior to the sending the ring back for exchange. Size exchanges must be done within 30 days of delivery.

- All other jewellery may be refunded, if the item is returned in its original condition and properly packaged for shipping. Refunds are issued up to ten days after delivery. Please contact me if you intend to return an item, and I will direct you though my personalized method of shipping. Refunds will not be issued to those who do not do this, as I do not want my jewellery to be damaged, lost, or stolen due to improper packaging.

- Items damaged in transit are not my responsibility, and must be made known to me within seven days of delivery.

- Shipping, taxes, tariffs and duties are non-refundable. It is the Customers responsibility to be aware of any fees their country may impose on imported goods.

~ QUALITY GUARANTEE ~

I take pride in the quality of my work, and will always repair work free of charge, where the damage was incurred through a fault in my workmanship (broken solder seams, loose settings, broken ear posts or bails on pendants.)

Not included are include oxidization (see my care instructions) scratches/dents from daily wear, accidents (such as getting your hand slammed in a car door) medical emergencies in which the jewellery has been cut off, broken (metal) chains, warped ear wires, ring sizings (I will exchange, but only if in unworn condition - see policies above), or any instance where I warn you that your metal or stone choice is particularly unsuitable for its intended purpose.

The guarantee is rendered null and void if my jewellery is brought to another jeweller for repair.

Additional policies

~ FINDING YOUR RING SIZE ~

I always recommend visiting a local jeweller to be sized properly. (Some plastic sizers can also be found The most accurate reading will come from a sizer with a similar width to the ring you want.

Please do not use printable sizers, apps, or string - most of these are not accurate. If you are purchasing a wide ring (6mm and up) and the jeweller does not have a wide ring sizer, please add a half size up, as wide rings tend to fit tighter.

There are not many accurate ways to sneakily size your partner. If you feel you absolutely have to, use a ring that you know for CERTAIN fits their RING finger properly, and bring that in to a jeweller to check the size, or really, - just ASK HER!

If you cannot choose between two sizes, pick the larger one. It's usually easier to size rings down than it is to size them up.

~ RESIZING ~

Some rings are more easily resized than others, depending on the metal and the stone. I offer size exchanges on the Zora, Kokiri, and Snitch rings (citrine and topaz) only. All others may be subject to a sizing fee, depending on the type of metal and how much sizing is required. Shipping costs for sizing and size exchanges are the responsibility of the customer.

~ ENGRAVING, PLATING, CUSTOMER PROVIDED STONES ~

I do not offer any of these as a service. I also do not use customer provided stones, as I do not have insurance for damage that can occur from improper identification or unseen cracks/inclusions during setting, or for loss.

~ LARGE RING SIZES ~

Some rings over a size 10 ( size 9 in gold) will have to be specially ordered, and will incur a slightly higher cost. This is because larger sizes require more metal, and because some of my rings are cast, or have cast components, and it is difficult or impossible to size them without compromising the structure.

~ WHAT METAL IS BEST FOR WEDDING RINGS? ~

While I will happily make wedding bands in sterling silver, and while silver is much more economical for most people - gold tends to have much more longevity, so please consider it! Textures do wear down faster in silver as well.

~ CARE AND CLEANING ~

Sterling silver jewellery is prone to tarnish, and may also discolour the skin of some wearers. Neither of these are an indication that the metal is "fake", rather it is the presence of copper in the sterling that causes the aforementioned issues.

The speed at which tarnish happens depends on a few factors, including the skin type of the wearer, climate, and what the jewellery is exposed to. It can occur faster if you shower, swim, use household cleaning solutions, live in a humid climate, bake (cooked eggs can blacken silver) and use hot tubs without removing your jewellery prior.

For gunk build up - a soft toothbrush, warm water, and dishsoap should do the trick.

For my flame-textured pieces, a brass kitchen brush with plenty of warm water and dish soap should bring back the shine and remove patina. However, if you find it to be stubborn, bring it into a jeweller to have it professionally cleaned.

Please also make an effort to not wear your rings while weight lifting, swimming, or playing sports than involve the use of hands (volleyball especially).

FAQs

Possibly! I can source a wide variety of gemstones, just message me with what you're looking for, and I can quote you! I do not use customer provided gemstones. I work in sterling silver, 14kt and 18kt yellow, white, and rose gold. Any of my designs can be made in these materials!
There are not many accurate ways to sneakily size your partner. You can use a ring that you know for certain fits their ring or middle finger properly, and bring that in to a jeweller to check the size. You can also try recruiting friends or family to help out by bringing them to a jewelry store if they're out shopping together. If you cannot choose between two sizes, pick the larger one. It's usually easier to size rings down than it is to size them up. Please do not use printable sizers, apps, or string - most of these are not accurate.
Rush orders, when possible, are available for a $50 fee. This bumps your turnover time to 3-4 business days -if- I have all materials and stones in stock. If not, it might take closer to 1-2 weeks. The fee does not increase the shipping time. Please message me before ordering if you need something rushed, so I can let you know if it's possible with your time frame.

Payment plans are available for items that cost $500 and upwards. I am happy to break the cost of the item in to a maximum of five payments, which can be paid as frequently as you wish. I do not ship until the final payment has been made. If you pick more than two payments, I do not order materials or start making your item until the second payment has been made. It is at this point that my turnover time kicks in. The order can be cancelled at any time, but will only be refunded in full if cancelled before the second payment. Otherwise a 20-30% restocking fee applies for the materials and time I have invested. This applies to both made to order items, and custom items.
