Did you know there are more than 20 different species of lavender? These different types of lavenders vary in habit, flower, color and fragrance. The three most commonly used lavenders are: true lavender, spike lavender and lavandin.

I am lucky enough to have a lavender farm in my neighbors back yard, well 20 acres of a back yard. I also have friends that own even a larger lavender farm that produce 9 varieties.

Lavender is an evergreen perennial that indigenous to southern Europe and the mountain regions of the Mediterranean. It seems now that lavender is grown in many countries including the United States. In Central Oregon gardening is a challenge due to the face that Junipers are everywhere and it is the High Desert. Lavender just happens to love our moon dust soil created by the volcanos and is a plant that thrives in our weather conditions.

True lavender aka English lavender is a sweet floral scent. This essential oil provides a variety of aromatherapy properties, ranging from soothing, calming, and relaxing, to grounding, balancing, and healing.

Spike lavender variety yields up to three times the amount of essential oil as true lavender. The oil from spike lavender flowers has a eucalyptus-like aroma. Found in many product such as soaps and room sprays because of it's purifying characteristics.

Lavandin aka Dutch lavender, is a hybrid plant from the cross-pollination of true lavender and spike lavender.
The scent is woody, spicy-green, camphor aroma and I love this for congestion and low immune systems.

I really could go on forever but let's talk about Nite-Night Spray.

"Nite Night" Spray is more of a pillow spray because it is super concentrated in both botanicals and essential oils. Misting across your pillow before you tuck in for the night will allow you to calm yourself and breath deep. Lavender woodsy notes will whisk you away to dreamland and hopefully melt those worries away. This could also be used as a room or bathroom spray.

This is safe for baby & children pillows too but please mist only once and wait for one minute.
Check with your doctor first for allergies or if taking any medicins.

This listing is for one 4 oz Cobalt Blue Glass Bottle Sprays.
These should last you for months.

To maintain freshness please keep out of sunlight.
