Ceramic Maple Leaf Ornaments

Bring a little piece of autumn indoors with these colorful handmade ceramic maple leaves. Inspired by freshly fallen foliage, each leaf is glazed by hand in a blend of rich colors. Earthy fall tones mingling with vibrant jewel shades, create unique little works of pottery folk art.

Delicate details add to their natural character, while the varied glazes give every leaf its own personality. No two will ever be exactly alike.

These ornaments make lovely fall keepsakes and thoughtful gifts for nature lovers, gardeners, wedding parties and anyone who appreciates handmade art. Hang one on your Christmas tree, add several to a seasonal display, or tuck one into a gift for a special handmade touch. They’re wonderful as a whole collection, as well. How can you choose just one?

A Note About Using AI at Tupper’s Perch: I am an artisan. I am not a great photographer. Over the years, I have always made some manual adjustments to my photos to correct lighting and shadows. With the widespread use of AI these days, I was reluctant to give it a try because I worried it might somehow take away from the handmade feel of my shop. That said, I recently decided to give it a try and found it to be a huge time saver when correcting the color and lighting in my photos. Still, everything you see in my photos is part of my own arrangement. That’s my driftwood and those are my greens. The shingles are on the side of my house, and the table is on my deck. And yes, that’s my candy kiss for size comparison.

My instructions to AI are simple:
Correct color and lighting.
Keep all handmade character.
Do not change textures or flaws.
Do not add or remove anything from the photo.
Keep the items as customers will receive them.

Am I happy about how AI is changing the world? I’m pretty old fashioned, and AI is developing far too quickly for my taste. It isn’t going away, however, and I’m still uncomfortable using it. At the end of the day, I do find it a huge time saver for making the same color and lighting corrections I would make in a photo editing app. The results are faster and often better than what I could accomplish before. That leaves me more time to focus on the creative side of Tupper’s Perch and reduces my time spent on the managerial side. I do hope this puts your mind at rest. You will never purchase or see something at Tupper’s Perch that isn’t my own work, and I plan to keep it that way. My customers can continue to depend on the same transparency I have offered throughout my 15 years on Etsy. And, as always, you are always appreciated. (Written by me, not AI)
