This is for one purple Soft Book Journal slow-stitch kit (not a finished product) with bits of vintage fabric, trim, buttons, and lace. The kit contains a total of 30 items. Cut in a variety of sizes.
The fabrics will vary by pattern and print. One 7.5 x 12-inch vintage flannel foundation piece and muslin fabric. Three pieces of fabric, batting, and felt. Full kit (3 flannel, 3 pieces of felt, and 3 batting)
There are 12 small pieces ranging in size from 4 x 4 inches to 6 x 6 inches. There are 12 vintage buttons. There are 12 vintage pieces of trim and lace ranging in size—three yards of embroidery floss (one yard of each color). No written instructions are included. I do have a video tutorial available at the link below.
What is Slow Stitching?
I define it as my crafting therapy. It helps me slow down be mindful and be creative.
How is it different from other sewing kits?
It's a great way to collect little bits and pieces of vintage fabric, lace, and buttons worldwide.
What are the benefits?
They are portable. You can take it on the road or to the doctor's office and airport.
You get to escape the hustle and bustle and just relax. Put on some music or podcasts and enjoy your mindful stitches.
