Wormy Butternut Wood Platter (PL20)

Only 1 available

Item details

Butternut, also known as White Walnut, is a tree species that's rather rapidly disappearing from our forests, due to a canker blight. It's a relative of the revered Black Walnut, perhaps the king of North American furniture woods.

This platter has small "worm" pinholes along the rim area on opposite sides, but is quite sturdy and sound nonetheless.

Buffed semi-gloss varnish finish, polished with fine finishing waxes.
