These beautiful items, known as Handira, are painstakingly hand-loomed from sheep’s wool and cotton in the villages of Morocco for Berber brides and given as matrimonial gifts.
Vintage Moroccan woolen throw decorated with gorgeous fringes. Each Handira is one of a kind. Hand-woven wool-cotton. In ivory with pattern in black and charcoal. The backside has long woolen strands to protect against the cold and the snow. The two sides, the front and rear, are very nice and can be used interchangeably.
They add a touch of bohemian chic to your home and make beautiful bed coverlets, gorgeous wall hangings or sumptuous rugs.
