This is a handcrafted reproduction of an American Civil War era Folding Camp Table. The design and dimensions are from a period antique.

Its ingenious design is completely unitized so there are no loose parts to get lost and it folds down to a mere 2” thick. It is constructed completely of hardwood (poplar and oak) for strength and durability while weighing only ~ 6 ½ pounds. And of course, the hinging joints are of the period correct rivet and burr method.

As was common, the wood is unfinished and will obtain a great patina quickly or it’s ready to finish however you like.

With 2011 - 2015 being the 150th anniversary of the Civil War this is a great accessory for the re-enactor or history buff and also makes a unique accent piece and conversation starter.

Remember, if you’re going for a correct period impression your items should look NEW – today’s antiques were that period's Brand New!

The approximate overall “open” size is 18 x 14 x 21 3/4 high – folded 14 x 27 x 2 thick.
