Frederick Post Paraltilt 1732n Drafting & Art Board

This vintage machine-age drafting/drawing board is a vintage treasure and all moving parts work fine. It is missing one of the ruler screw tops as seen in picture #5 .It has two metal legs that swing out to tilt the table up at an angle, and a handy carrying handle that swings out of the way when not in use. Its size, moderate weight and handle allow easy portability.

Made by the "Frederick Post Company", a manufacturer founded in Chicago circa 1890's to produce quality drafting, engineering and surveying supplies and equipment - a succesful venture as they became the third largest supplier of such equipment in the United States. Their catalogs feature such wares as "Post's Dependable Drawing Materials", the standout "El Dorado" pencil, Chicago brand pencil sharpeners, and many fine slide rules. In short, their drafting tables are true collectibles. Enjoy!
