Doesn't everyone love an Annie? I have been collecting them for 60 years...lol...you'd think that I'd out grow this by now...My mom started by giving me my first Annie on my 5th birthday. I received an Annie every year since then until she passed on. My love for Annie continues still....

This Annie is made from osnaburg and has bloomers made from an old hankie. Her legs are painted in a raggedy prim way. She is stained and sanded to give her that special PRIM look. I chose a muted blue and cream flannel for her skirt. Her blouse is made from a vintage hankie as well. Look closely to see the beautiful cut work. I love to use vintage items to create my dolls....makes them so special..OOAK (one of a kind) ...She wears quite a lovely out fit if I do say!

I styled Annie's hair with oodles of linen thread. Her face is also stitched with linen thread to give that old, loved look. Annie's eyes are made from 2 vintage bone buttons. Annie is holding a little collectible bear wearing a hand knitted sweater accented with three little pink silk roses....quite classy for an old bear! Annie is 14 inches tall. The lil' bear is only 5 inches in height. I used a Crows in the Attic pattern for the doll.

I spend much time on attention to detail. This doll is one of exceptional design and extra special touches. She will look wonderful decorating any PRIM room and will look oh so special adorning a darling little bed along side decorative pillows.
