This is a Vintage Jacket with the label Canvasbacks, Lutton and Horsfield. The size label is small.

I had never heard of this label before, but with a little research I found out that the company was started in 1978 by two women (they had made needlepoint christmas gifts for friends). The company peaked in the 1990's and these jackets sold for two or three hundred dollars at boutiques.

This is one of the more unusual ones with abstract art to wear in the form of fabric wrapped around both sides. The jacket is a combination of cotton, rayon and linen. It is lined throughout and has some small sewn in shoulder pads.

Even though this says a small I think it will fit a much bigger person as it was that kind of style. The measurments taken on a flat surface with the jacket buttoned up and not stretching the fabric -

18" across the shoulders

21" across the chest under the sleeves

21" across the bottom

22 1/2" long sleeves from top seam to bottom edge

26" from top seam to bottom edge
