~Second and Final Installment~

Reserved for Susan is this wonderful antique book by Johanna Spyri called Cornelli: A Story of the Swiss Alps. What is so splendid about it is that this is the gift edition with fabulous cover graphics, thick page paper, color illustrations by Maria L Kirk, and special page decorations.

This timeless, classic story is by the same author of the beloved Heidi. It involves a girl whose mother dies and whose father decides to have her cousin and that cousin's friend to come and train Cornelli to be ladylike. Although it was intended for young ones, it would be best read to a youngster and discussed.

Measures approx. 9.5" x 7.25" x 1-3/8" thick. Gilt page edges on top.

Condition: very nice, basically the low end of Very Good. Has a tiny stamp on it "Billings Book Dept." with a number penciled in. See the photos. Not sure what that is - No Google results... The tiniest bit of cover wear and little bits of white showing on the cover plate. Some slight soiling to the back cover - see the photos. Otherwise, clean and tight; appears unread.

This book will carefully packaged and shipped via the slowest USPS shipping method: Media Mail. We will provide insurance. I can't give much of a combined shipping discount unless this is combined with other books. Please convo me for combined shipping and I will provide the options and estimates.

Susan and I have been in contact about this transaction. Please respect our arrangements and allow her to complete it as planned. Thanks!

All in all, a fabulous hard-to-find edition that will look great on display as well!
