In this dialog box from the cult classic SNES RPG Earthbound, youwrite the script, boing! Choose your own text and I'll lay it out, kay-o? As long as it fits!
One part typography and two parts nostalgia, this dialog box is available as a magnet for your fridge, a pin for your shirt or backpack, or with a blank back so you can apply your own adhesive solution.
DESIGN:
The Earthbound dialog box design has been carefully recreated with an accurate square pixel aspect ratio, an appropriately-rounded border, and typography hand-traced from the game's completely insane Mr. Saturn bitmap font. Special attention has been paid to line breaks and character spacing, and the tiny prompt arrow forever suggests that there's more to be said.
MATERIALS:
The design is laser-engraved and cut out of 1/16" thick microsurface plastic. Strips of magnet or pin backs are optionally affixed to the back surface.

I got one of these for my boyfriend for this past Christmas. He has Dr. Saturn in the blue trashcan so I thought having his dialogue on a magnet would be a perfect little gift. It is a small magnet (double check the dimensions, as I forgot to) but it is so well made and authentic looking. Shipping on USPS part was horrible, sadly. It took twice as long to arrive than USPS had estimated and came more than a week after Christmas. This is NOT the seller's fault, let me be clear about that. It was shipped in a timely manner with plenty of time before Christmas. I would order again from this seller in a heartbeat! I got exactly what I wanted for a good price and my boyfriend loved it.
