Description

These felt wool dryer balls are a perfect baby shower gift: eco-friendly, all natural, undyed, adorable, and safe for sensitive skin. Besides, what new parent doesn't need a little help in the laundry department? Also perfect for a housewarming gift. Bring a little fun into your laundry chores!

DETAILS:
- tricolour flock of 3 dryer balls
- larger than my original dryer balls (thanks to feedback!)
- hand crafted in Canada with a combination of wet and needle felting
- 100% wool roving
- 21.5-23cm / 8-9" circumference (sizes vary slightly)
- just under 50g/2oz each
- will last several years

Every sheepy ball is a little different, with a slightly different personality.

These were originally made to be used as energy-saving dryer balls, but over the years have had people buy them as natural baby toys, tree ornaments, or fibre art in a bowl in their living room.

REDUCE DRYER TIME:
Wool dryer balls help reduce dryer time by soaking up some of the dampness and bouncing around creating better air flow. They soften clothes, can help reduce static (but I suggest not overdrying your synthetics, which is what causes static), and are safe for cloth diapers.

If you like some fragrance in there, you can add a few drops of your favourite essential oil to the balls.

Three balls is a good place to start for a regular load of laundry in a regular sized dryer, but the more you have in your dryer, the better. I personally use 6 balls in my large dryer (and I love my clothesline in summer).

Being pure wool, they may shrink slightly over time.

FAQs

Lynn's Lids hats, tea and coffee cosies can be spot washed with a damp cloth or hand washed with a wool wash in cool water. Roll in a towel to remove excess water, then put in original shape to dry. Leave for a day or 2 to dry completely.
