The Frau Grand Duchess Tarot is comprised of 78 collaged cards in full color. With lush imagery to illustrate each card's meaning, this deck should be fun for a novice, as well as an avid collector.

The making of the Frau Grand Duchess Tarot deck all began with the purchase of a tall stack of green index cards and a small file box with alphabetized files. The index cards looked as if they had been sitting in that exact spot for twenty years (they had). But the color variations and small stains and scratches were kind of beautiful. At first I just made small drawings mixed with collage and notes to myself and categorized them by the idea or a word in the text.

As I poured over piles of old magazines like Post, Teen, Popular Mechanics, and Good Housekeeping, I began ripping out pictures that reminded me of my tarot cards. Before I fully realized what was happening, I began making my first tarot card deck.

The Frau Grand Duchess Tarot decks come packed nicely in a white box with their very own instruction booklet. Inside the booklet you will find each card's meaning and a sample tarot spread if you have never had cards and need a place to start. The cards measure 3 by 5 inches.
