Do not put your ring with other metal items together, as the stone and the gold may be destroyed. Remove your ring when working out, showering or bathing, when applying lotions, using hairspray, or chemicals such as acetone. Use a soft brush to clean the stones themselves, scrubbing gently with warm, mild soapy water to get rid of any dirt accumulation. Rinse the stones well in warm water, since soap scum can build up easily, and then pat it dry with a soft, clean cloth. Don't ever use tissues to wash or dry jewelry
