Coniston by Winston Churchil in 1906
Illustrated by Florence Scovel Shinn

Published by The MacMillan Company in 1906 - First Edition (June, 1901 Printing)

This is a wonderful historical novel from the author of The Crisis and A Far Country. Written by a turn of the century American writer, not the Honorable Winston Churchill of England, the book is a beautiful work of historical fiction. The book is in good condition, especially considering its age. The overall spine is tight, although the cover has separated at the front and slightly at the rear spine. The cover is clean. The pages are slightly faded with age, but they are clear, sharp, and easily readable and the illustrations are sharp. There is no other writing or marks in this book.

This is a rare book by a noted early American author and it would be an excellant addition to anyone's book collection.

The book is about 5-1/2" x 8" x 1-1/2", 543 pages, and about 1-2 lbs.+/- with packaging.
