Digital file type(s): 1 PDF
[Sadly, this listing was erroneously deleted and I've lost the 1238 Favorites and 101 Treasuries it had previously collected. Thank you to everyone who'd added it to their lists! ♥ ]
On SALE: was $12, now $9. In this economic downturn I hate to think that we craftsters can't still enjoy ourselves, so I'm doing my part to share the plush-making love!
* Two pages of print-ready ** PATTERNS **
* Two and a half pages of detailed text instructions
* All in PDF and available for download upon purchase
A bit more complex than your usual stuffie, this dragon's not only a fierce companion but also poseable!
He's wired at neck and tail and from shoulder to the second wing joint. Raise his wings, turn his head, coil his tail around an object or your hand. Due to the wiring this plush isn't recommended for young children, but you can make some modifications (contact me for details).
Just under 15" nose to tail, and if you (gently, because they will retain a curve once stitched/wired) stretch out his wings, a 17" wingspan. For people who want to experiment, the pattern can be scaled up. Because of the wiring and intricacy of the design, the instructions focus on hand-sewing the dragon using acrylic felt.
** Take a look at the wonderful dragons other people have created from this pattern! **
In general I request that people not sell finished dragons made from this pattern, but you're welcome to convo me and we can discuss.
Out of stock? I'll re-list it for you.
Was a Featured Project on Craftster for the month of Jan. 2009.

I made one for each of my kids and they love them. It was easy to customize the pattern, so I was able to make the dragons with different heads and tails.
First sewing pattern I have ever used and it went together very smoothly and quickly. Supplies were cheap and the final product is something I am very happy with.
Was able to make a presentable dragon from this even though I'm not super great at sewing. Good directions though I had to hazard a guess on exactly how things should look in a couple of places--but it worked out.
the dragon is so cute! the pattern is easy to follow, I just wish that there were more photos.
