I’m very pleased with the outcome of my dress, but I have to say I found arranging and sewing the pattern pieces a little tricky. Some of the edges didn’t quite match up in length and the sizing was, for me, a little off. I measured myself a few times and it came out as XS, but having made up the toile (I’m glad I did), it was far too small. I sized up but the hips were still very tight even though I was well within the given ranges for an S. Perhaps this was because I used totally non-stretch fabric (Ankara wax cotton) so would advise anyone making this in non stretch to consider making a non stretch toile first to check your fit! However, it was my first time boning and lining something and I thought the instructions with the video made that very straightforward indeed. Thank you for the great resources!

Loved the pattern! The fit was slightly snug, but i prefer less tight fitting clothing. Some more pattern markings would be nice, like grainlines. Overall, it was a good pattern and it made a lovely dress
