This is a fantastic Paint By Number painting. The stylized Asian inspired frame really compliments it. It is a black lacquered wood frame with a gold gilt painted carved trim, and a burlap fabric accent trim. Colors on the painting of a traditionally dressed Japanese woman by a river, include mauve, gray, pink, cream, blues, browns, and greens.

There is a paper backing on the frame and a stamp on the bottom, that reads: Picture & Frame Mart, 6914 Pacific Blvd., LUdlow 7-7416. That old form of telephone numbers, with the first two being letters, ended around the mid 1960's in California.

It is in very good vintage condition, with light wear and no signs of damage. The frame measures 19 1/2" x 23 1/2".
