Teach your children about the saints and their symbols. This is the first saint in a new series of saints "In Hand" that come with arms that hold a movable symbol. St Therese is approx. 4" tall and 3/4" deep. I cut the figure from pine, round the edges and sand smooth. The symbol is cut from 1/4" pine and is approx. 3/4""H. Then I paint with a soft blend of non toxic acrylic paint and coat with a satin protective finish. St. Therese's feast day is October 1. Each saint will vary slightly from photo in color and detail.
