My kids have carried some of my crocheted baskets each year for trick or treating and have gotten so many compliments! I thought I'd convert one of the basket patterns this year to make it a pumpkin. Best news? You can re-make it in a different color for the Spring!
Easy to make and written in standard American crochet terms, this makes a fun and quick crochet project. Templates are included for the felt facial features but you can of course cut out your own as well! This bag sits 4.5" tall and 7" wide and hold more than enough candy for any one kid!

Absolutely awesome and works wonders too! My daughter's thumb lived in her mouth so I crocheted this last night and since wearing it today the thumb is dry! Fabulous! :)

Pattern was available instantly. Pattern size is for a bigger child than my own, so I had to experiment with making it the proper size, but the concept is wonderful - a comfy, colorful way to help little ones break the thumb-sucking habit. Loved the concept. Very creative.

I love this pattern - my girls (3 and 6) thought the googly eyes finger puppets were really fun to play with. The ring was a little tricky to master, but after a couple practice rings, I was much more comfortable with that part of the pattern. What a cute project!
