Description

Rare 1940's navy blue crepe blouse with "pulled thread" diamond design in front designed by Rositta. Made in Vienna, Austria. Bows are embroidered where the lines meet. The collar is a demure peter pan style. There is a 1" fold covering the buttonholes down the front. There are very small, thin shoulder pads at the shoulders. The armpit to armpit measurement is 20.5" - 21" There is no size tag. I'm guessing that it would fit a large S or a small M. The overall condition is good. There are no large holes or tears. However, there are small holes and almost holes [thin spots] scattered on the sleeves and back. Because of the dark color, these are hard to detect unless examined close up. I think it's still wearable. I will discount $30 from the price for these flaws. The price stated will already include the discount. I include this blouse in my shop because it is rare, unique and collectible. It is a lovely piece from that era.
