Description

A stunning view of an extraordinary building with an equally unique history... Wyndclyffe Manor, Rhinebeck, New York. Photo measures 11" x 14" and is from a professional lab, printed on Kodak Endura Pro Lustre Paper, and professionally matted in an acid-free and archival 16" x 20" Salem Black mat. Simply remove from bag & place into a 16" x 20" frame of your choice.

"It is out of this estate-building that the phrase "keeping up with the Joneses" supposedly originated from. On the eastern shore of the Hudson, is the ruined shell of a mansion known as Wyndclyffe, which is featured in Hudson River Villas. It was built in 1853 for Elizabeth Schermerhorn Jones, a relative by marriage to the wealthy Astor Family, and it is rumored she is the source of the old adage."

Photograph is signed and dated on back. Watermark does not appear on the actual print. Photograph will be shipped in a clear archival sleeve to protect it.

Shipping via U.S.P.S. First Class package w/ Delivery Confirmation within the U.S. Shipping to Canada & the U.K. will be First Class International envelope. Photo and mat will be carefully packaged and shipped flat to insure it arrives to you safely.
