Highlights
With a depiction of the moon rover and the names of all the astronauts: Neil Armstrong, Michael Collins, Edward “Buzz” Aldrin (as well as President Nixon!). This 5” diameter plate is a wonderful gift for a space enthusiast or history buff. There is a gold band, slightly rubbed in spots. The application of the astronauts’ names on the front is a little uneven. Otherwise, the little plate is in excellent vintage condition, with no chips or cracks. On the back it has this wonderful quote: “Here men from the planet Earth first set foot upon the moon, July 1969 A.D. We came in peace for all mankind.” This particular collectible Moon Landing souvenir is rare.
