ELEPHANT FAMILY FIGURINES…Mother with Two Babies…Attached with a Gold Chain…Felted Feet…Collectible Figurines…Rare! 1960s/70s

This adorable set is a rare collectible piece. There were many animal families produced in the 1960s and 1970s, connected with chains but I have never come across an elephant set before.

The mother is larger in size with wonderful features and an upturned trunk. It is glazed with the exception of it’s tusks. Two smaller elephants are attached with gold chains that are connected to her body. They also have raised trunks. Most of the feet are felted in green. No makers mark or sticker.

Good vintage condition with some signs of vintage cosmetic wear. The mother elephant has darkened tusks. Slight paint loss. One of the babies has a tiny chip on top of its raised drink. The other has a small chip on the side of its body and a tiny chip by its ear. A darkened spot on its paint.
