This is a small Norman Rockwell collector plate with the illustration “Girl at the Mirror.”

“Girl at the Mirror” was the March 6, 1954 Saturday Evening Post Cover.

It is a small plate measuring only 3 1/2" (8.9 cm) in diameter. “The Saturday Evening Post” is along the top edge in gold; “Norman Rockwell – March 6, 1954” also in gold, is at the bottom.

On the back of the plate it reads in gold, “Normal Rockwell” “Girl at the Mirror” “Nor for food use may poison food © CPC Made in China”

This is from the 1970’s and part of my mother’s Norman Rockwell collection. It’s in very good to near excellent condition. There are no cracks, chips, repairs, or signs of crazing. A blue smudge mark from manufacturing can be seen at the bottom right of the plate.

It’s a very sweet little plate that is a perfect stocking stuffer for a Rockwell collector or for a young lady “that age” like the girl in the mirror :)

Thanks for visiting! Have a wonderful day!
