If you're sewing or creating your own clothing -- or living the vintage life & using that iron, then you'll recognize the need for a tailoring tool like this.

The Cuff-Shapa eliminates the need for pulling and shaping pant cuffs by hand (and therefore also eliminating the risk of iron burns). You insert the Cuff-Shapa and adjust it to the cuff size by pulling the rubber-covered handles and/or the little knob in the center and let the metal take the heat of the iron, shaping pressing the pants cuff.

Made by & marked: Direct Manufacturing & Sales Company, 165-07 Jamaica Ave., Jamaica, N.Y., Patent No 2529708.

Frame measures just over 8 and 1/2 inches wide; when fully extended, the tool is 9 and 1/4 inches wide. (Smallest width of tool is 6 and 1/2 inches.)

Used by a professional tailoring shop through the 1960s. Moderate signs of age / use. Needs a good cleaning (nothing icky; just been in storage for ages), but fully functional & ready to use. Please view scans/photos and, if you have questions or concerns, contact us prior to making your purchase, thank you.

We always package well & ship with tracking. And we happily combine shipping to save you
money -- just let us know what else you are interested in!
