How do I figure out the size belt to order?

WHAT SIZE BELT DO I ORDER? - If you want to get your best size, measure a current belt you've been wearing. Lay it flat on the floor or a table, and pull it tight to remove any curves or bends. Then measure from the fold or beginning of the leather (where the leather wraps around or attaches to the buckle - DO NOT INCLUDE THE BUCKLE) to the fitting hole where you wear the belt. If it measures an even size, such as 38 inches, then you will order a 38. If it measures an odd size, such as 39 inches, then you will order a 40. 95% of people that need to exchange or return an item is because of ordering the wrong size. PLEASE reach out to us if you have any questions. We want you to get the correct size as much as you do.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON THIS BELT:

The top layer is a solid piece of finished water buffalo leather. To give the belt the shape and finish of the dress belt, we do include a cotton "filler" between to give the belt the proper shape and thickness. It's then sewn with another piece of leather for the backing of the belt. It is NOT one solid piece of leather. We found that our clients like the shape of the traditional dress belt, so we decided to make our belts this way. I will tell you this for the price, you will not beat it for less than $70 per belt. I'd put our belts up against Allen Edmonds or other high-end clothing/leather manufacturers any day.

BELT SIZING - What size do you buy?
Lay your current belt flat on a smooth surface and measure it from where the buckle attaches to the leather (the fold) to the current hole used. Order that belt size (round up if you measured odd). For example, if you measure 37" or 38" to the hole you use, order a 38" belt size.
It doesn't matter if you wear your belt in the last hole; we will measure your new belt to the center hole.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES:
WE NO LONGER ACCEPT RETURNS. We will exchange products for you. We cover the original shipping to you in our pricing. However, if you would like to exchange an item, we require that you cover the shipping back to us and the return shipping to you. Shipping has become extremely expensive and we can no longer cover more than our original shipping to you.

Extremely happy with the quality and price. Will be following the shop for more. Of the three belts I purchased this one was the stiffest. All three feel substantial and look great. I appreciate the sizing method as well, with the seller calling out my biggest concern and remedied it in the description of the item, which was greatly appreciated. These dress belts have appropriate dimensions, and while some could be thinner if that’s what you’re looking for, I personally do not recommended going larger than the 1.25 inches that the seller uses. That is the sweet spot for a dress belts Overall extremely satisfied with the items quality.
