Description

Three hand formed stones are stacked, with smaller silver shards between them, like a cairn left behind to mark your way. The stones are rough, as stones are, textured, asymmetrical and irregular. Threaded onto a heavy gauge wire that I've balled the end of, with a wrapped loop at the top through which is threaded a heavy silver figure of 8 loop that attaches the chain - one end is permanently attached, the other is a small silver lobster clasp.

The whole piece has been tumbled for strength and shine, before being quite heavily patinated to a deep rich peacock blue colour, with red, purple, gold, green flashes. This really has produced some amazing colours!

The chain is 57cm (22.5") long, with the pendant measuring 5cm (2") from the top of the 8 loop to the bottom of the stack. The stones vary in length from 2.5cm (1") for the longest to 1.5cm for the shortest. They're all around 1cm wide, and between .5 and 1cm tall. The stack itself measures 2.5cm (1").

Formed by hand, from PMC (precious metal clay) and then fired, this piece is 99.9% solid silver.
Please bear in mind that an "organic" piece is not perfectly smooth, nor perfectly shaped. It's intended to look like something which may have been created in nature - a little worn, and irregular.

I pack my jewellery into a suitable container - a small box, a little pouch - depending on the item.
Please let me know if you'd prefer I not use recycled/re-used packing materials.

Perfect, exactly as described and a lifesaver at work. Small enough to carry around and long enough to blot an entire line of writing in my B5 notebook. The cover is really lovely too. Thanks! ps - was worried because the packaging got saturated in bucketing rain on delivery day - but they come packaged in protective plastic so yay!
