Though the materials used is made of stainless steel, I recommend you to not sleep, swim, or spray chemicals (i.e. perfumes, lotions, or body spray) on to the necklace to preserve its longevity.
Please follow these tips to preserve the longevity of the ashes necklace.
To clean, it is best to use a soft microfiber cloth to clean the jewelry from smudges.

very solid, durable metal for the urn itself and the chain is thicker than i expected! they captured the likeness of my kitty very well in the image and included everything you need to prepare the necklace. my only concern is they suggest i don’t wear it to bed, which is understandable but a little sad, but that reflects nothing on the actual craftsmanship of the item as it’s a suggestion for best longevity. awesome product, i’ll keep you in mind for the future!
