Description

There's just no such thing as too many ducks!

Especially useful ones who hold your pins and things handy for sewing. Make this in as many color fabrics as you can imagine--seasonal prints, solids, patchwork, even crazy quilt blocks for a really prim look. Dress it up or down by finishing with a gauzy bow or satin ribbon. Great way to use up scraps creatively as gifts for your favorite seamsters.

With finished measurements of 7" x 6.5" x 3", this sweet duckie is just big enough to hold your pins and needles, but not so big as to get in your way. Sew it up with the wings flat as applique, or make little pockets to hold tiny scissors, needle threaders, or un-pickers. (Un-picker being a technical sewing term, of course.) The little painted fellow in photo 5 goes to doll shows with me to my business cards!

Skill level: basic sewing skills required--nothin' fancy here.

INSTANT DOWNLOAD! This is an e-pattern, instantly downloadable in PDF form: be sure to download both the title page file and the pattern/instructions file. The pattern is already sized for super-easy print-n-cut use.

Please note: this is an original pattern by JDConwell Folkart Dolls and copyrighted material. Use for your own enjoyment--or if making to sell, please give credit to JDConwell Folkart Dolls for design on your tag or in your listing. Thanks!

She is absolutely adorable from the top of her painted red hair, to her pretty green eyes, right down to the tips of her daintily booted feet. The pefect addition to my collection

Many thanks, Jan, for your superb work on her
