This lesson teaches you to wrap a plain, top drilled crystal point with intricate weaving, coils and spirals. Using the techniques in this tutorial, you can create many different styles of wraps. This lesson teaches one specific design, however you can use what you learn here to create many other designs.

This lesson shows you the same techniques I use to make the "Atlantis" pendants I sell in my jewelry shop here on Etsy (see second photo for an example). If you would prefer to purchase one of these pendants already made, I sometimes have them available in my other Etsy shop, http://gailavirajewelry.etsy.com . Material List:

•1 Top Drilled Crystal Point (hole must fit 20 gauge wire)
•15” (38cm) 20g Dead Soft Round Wire (add a couple inches if your crystal point is more than 10mm thick)
•Approximately 10’ (3 meters) 28g Dead Soft Round Wire

Tool List:

• Flush Wire Cutters
• Round Nose Pliers
• Chain Nose Pliers
• Bail Making Pliers or 3-4mm Mandrel

In an effort to conserve time I've copied/pasted some of my comments for the various products in this shop. No disrespect at all for the shop owner. But these are great files/tutorials. Some of these are really hardcore for this old man with fumbly fingers, but they are really well done. Beautiful work (the artist and the files)! I'm still a work in progress (but getting there).
