It’s a foregone conclusion that I wear blue day in and day out – indigo blue that is. But I work with it and “in it” so that’s no big surprise. Since I’ve begun this work though, I’ve found other folks who love to do the same. So, it makes sense to offer the service on Etsy as well.

Here’s the deal: send me your undyed (white) 100% cotton, linen, rayon or silk tunic tops or shirts and I’ll dye them to the depth of hue you desire. It’s that simple.

It will take time to accomplish this, as nature also plays a part. It could take as long as two weeks. It just depends, so I've included that flexibility in the shipping. Having said this, weather and temperatures also play their parts - indigo as a rule does not like cold weather. As a result, it seems that the best time for this activity is spring, summer and autumn (before it gets chilly).

I'll dye them, remove the excess dyes and additives (and of course, dry them), then return them to you. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.

I came across this listing and requested a custom indigo overdye of some pale blue chinos I had... I was hoping for a hybrid between chinos/khakis and jeans. What I received was nothing short of amazing. Customer service and communication with the seller was amazing. The price and service rendered is beyond fair and the return shipping was very fast and nicely packaged. But most importantly the final product looks exactly how I imagined a custom, hand-dyed pair of pants would look, with slight color variations near seams and contrasting stitching and buttons where the dye didn't penetrate as well, lending a very rugged workwear and denim-like look. The blue color itself is amazing. I can't wait to hopefully get that indigo "fade" like jeans, and get more character with wear! HAPPY CUSTOMER.
