Labdanum resinoid oil, derived from the sticky resin of the Cistus ladanifer plant, is a highly valued substance with a rich history. The resin used to produce labdanum resinoid oil is obtained from the rockrose plant by a process known as "ladaniferous scraping." It has a warm, musky, and balsamic scent that is deeply captivating. Labdanum oil is extracted from its resin. Which is native to the Mediterranean region.
Botanical Name: Cistus ladaniferus
Blends with: Angelica, Frankincense, Bergamot, Cedarwood, Cypress, Lavender, Sandalwood, Clary Sage, Pine, Patchouli, Vetiver etc..
Extraction Method: Solvent extraction or steam distillation.
