Beautiful Green Aventurine Shield Pendant

Materials: Aventurine, sterling silver
This pendant has been carved from a beautiful piece of translucent green aventurine (quartz spangled with mica flecks). In this piece there is a band of gold pyrite flecks through the center of the pendant. This cannot be seen in the photos, but it is clearly visible when the pendant is rotated in the sunlight. The size is approximately 1-7/8" x 1-3/16" x 3/16". It has a glowing polish on both sides (which are dome shaped, not flat) with a 2-3 mm polished girdle.

Stunning mint green color and I love the shield design. I've never owned a chrysoprase gem before and I'm happy I decided on this one. I can tell it was thoughtfully made and a lot of care was put into it. It is domed on the front and back with a very high polish and is extremely smooth. It's so elegant and well made and can look deceivingly simple when you first look at it.
