Description

"Nothing endures but change." -Heraclitus, 500BC

I've been struggling with change lately (you know, for like the last 30 years, haha). We work so hard to get things the way they are, and then POOF, they change.

So I've been trying to learn to embrace it - the ebbs and flows, the ups and downs, the wave ... of life. So often we resist it, but the wave of life is actually what it means to be human.

This is the fifth piece of a series I did to help us remember that the wave of life is OK.

Each of these wave suncatchers are hand-drawn original patterns and no two are alike. They are all made from incredibly gorgeous reclaimed stained glass because wherever you're at in the wave, your life is beautiful.

This one is in golden yellows in a wave reminiscent of an abstract sun.

Hang this wave suncatcher in a window where you will see it every day.
Let it remind you that it's OK when things change.
The ups and downs.
It's part of life.
Love it.
Ride the wave.

This inspirational abstract sun wave suncatcher measures 2.75 x 7.75 inches.
I made it using the traditional copper foil (Tiffany stained glass) method.
It's finished in a black patina to help the beautiful yellows really pop.

A suction cup is included so you can put it right in your window.

Free, fast shipping in the USA :)

Additional policies

How to care for your stained glass:
Caring for stained glass is easy. If left alone, it will develop a natural patina over time and last for decades. If you need to wash it, use regular dishwashing soap. Do not use Windex or other glass cleaners on it. Dry it right away to avoid water spots.

Tips about suction cups:
Weight-rated suction cups are included with many of my purchases (see specific listing to determine if they are). For best adhesion, always clean the window before affixing suction cups. At least once a year, suction cups and the window should be cleaned again so that they'll keep sticking properly. Suction cups should be replaced every few years to ensure suction.

Reminder:
Stained glass items are made with solder, which contains lead. Handling the item is fine - licking or ingesting it is not! All stained glass items should be kept out of the mouths of children, adults, and pets. :)

Each package includes a card containing my contact information, brief information on how to care for the product, and a disclaimer regarding the use of lead in stained glass.
