Description

High-quality giclee reproduction of a watercolor painting by Mabel Minnich Miller [my grandmother].

Mabel Minnich Miller, a California native, graduated in Fine Arts at UC Berkeley in 1937. She also attended the California College of Arts in Oakland. Her high school sweetheart, Francis E. Miller--an electrical engineering graduate student--proposed under the Campanile and they were married in Berkeley in 1936, the year she created this painting.

Printed in the USA on acid-free 100% cotton rag with archival inks.

Includes two copies of the story card, with photos of the artist and her husband standing on the hill above the campus in that era. You may wish to have the card mounted on the back when you have the print framed.

Original size: 12.25 x 15.5 inches / Other sizes available.

// This project keeps me connected to my late grandmother, whose grace inspires me every day. Thank you to my customers who have shared the stories behind their decision to purchase and give this print as a gift. My family appreciates the stories, too. //

Sent this to my parents as a housewarming gift since they moved to the Berkeley hills. They were thrilled with it, and loved knowing the backstory on the artist. Print shipped when it was scheduled to, and arrived safely. All in all a great experience!!
