I am de-stashing some of the unmounted insects that I don't think I'll use anytime soon. If you'd be interested in them for modeling, parts, or to try to mount yourself, here's your chance!

"Unmounted" means that they are coming straight from my supplier. They have not been opened by me, so I have not done anything to spread out their legs, wings, or other parts. They are very fragile, so open these little individual packages with great care.

This package includes one specimen of a "Teal Glittering Damselfly", Euphaea variegata from Java. They can appear dark in dim lighting, but once exposed to bright light, they really do "glitter" a sparkling teal color. I have tried to show that here in the photos, but it is hard to capture on film. Very beautiful in person. On their underside, the teal markings are purple. You can see their color photographed nicely in the demonstration photos you see for the last three images. Those are to show you how I've used them, and their variation in color (the ones that are purple are glued on upside-down). They measure about 3 inches across. These damselflies come spread and ready to mount. No work for you to do except open them and glue into your frame!
