Description

A deceptively simple pattern, so basic it can be the basis for many different types and styles of dolls. Dress it prim or proper, make it vintage or modern, monochromatic or colorful…whatever your imagination leads you to create. The doll created is just under 19" tall, but slender and "small boned". The perfect drag-it-around size for little people.

The pattern includes:
template for doll itself,
template for the ink-drawn face (large in photo two),
pattern for dress and bonnet (shown in photos four and five),
Color photos to illustrate suggestions for faces or hair.

The dress & bonnet can—depending on the fabric choice—work as a play dress or a nightgown. In photos four and five: the white is made from an antique dresser scarf, and the other is natural linen with blue-grey feather stitching embroidery.

Skills required: basic sewing skills, to include pattern use, sewing terminology, button holes (or use eye hooks), and using bias trim for neck facing.

Please note that this is an e-pattern, and INSTANTLY downloadable. If you prefer that I send it to you via email, please specify that in the notes to seller.

The legal stuff: make & sell as many of these as you want,
so long as you don't wholesale them, and you give credit for the pattern

She is absolutely adorable from the top of her painted red hair, to her pretty green eyes, right down to the tips of her daintily booted feet. The pefect addition to my collection

Many thanks, Jan, for your superb work on her
