Highlights
100grams of lace weight merino tencel blend yarn, hand dyed in the beautiful Call of the Ocean colourway of sea blue to silver grey tones. I have hand dyed this luxury yarn in my dedicated home dye studio near the coast of Perranporth in Cornwall, England. The colourway was inspired by the ocean as I can hear the waves from Perranporth beach from my garden.
This beautiful variegated yarn is feels soft and smooth against the skin, and has a fabulous drape and subtle sheen. The colourway gives plenty of tonal interest without detracting from your lacy stitch designs.
The red Tidal Wrap pictured is a pattern that I designed to use one 800metre skein of 2ply laceweight such as this; buy the pattern here:

Alternatively use 1 skein of this yarn to crochet my Penhale Shawl design as pictured; the pattern is available to purchase here:

Merino is the softest wool yarn available, and is excellent at regulating body temperature, especially when worn against the skin. Merino sheep need to be shorn at least once a year because their wool does not stop growing.
Tencel yarn, also known as lyocell yarn, is made from wood pulp, and so is fully biodegradable. It is absorbent and breathable like other natural fibres and can be used similarly to silk, bamboo or mercerized cotton. It is a strong yarn with a wonderful sheen and drape like silk.
Enjoy both of these wonderful fibres in this gorgeous hand-dyed Perran Yarn!
Weight: approx. 100gram (price is per skein, yarn bowl and needles not included!)
Yarn: 50% superwash merino wool, 50% tencel
Type: laceweight
Length: approx. 800 metres ~ 874 yards
