Here it is!... the PRINTABLE .PDF PATTERN
for the FAIRY QUIET BOOK you’ve been waiting for!
I never planned to make a pattern for the fairy quiet book I made
for Keira last Christmas....
But you asked…and here it is!!!

Keira’s Fairy Book features a cute little felt fairy who flies from page to page…..
She can visit her cupcake bakery and count the sprinkles, or choose a new hat
from her hat “closet.” She stops in to say ”hi” to her gnome friends
in their pinecone home and to her little bug friends in the fairy meadow.
At the end of a long day, she finds her little seed pod bed and says good night to Mr. Moon.

There are 8 felt pages of my trademark whimsical designs,
sewn together to make 4 pages, 10” x 10.”

Pages include:
1. Cover – a flower pocket for the little fairy
2. the Cupcake Bakery- count the sprinkles and match the cupcakes to their cups!
3. the Gnome Home- a cute pinecone house opens to show the Gnome fam in their little leaf and mushroom beds
4. the fairy hat “closet” has 6 felt hats velcroed to a forest tree which the fairy can wear
5. the flowers in the meadow- flower centers and bugs attach to flowers, matching the color of the flowers or the rickrack stems. A snail and spider peek out from the log pocket
6. “Night Night” features 3 little mice who play in the bushes during the day and climb into their little leaf beds at night.
7. “Sleep Tight” has a little seed pod bed and leaf blanket for the fairy. Pull the stars from the Mr. Moon pocket, say “g’night” to Mrs. Owl and the birdie in the nest.
8. Back Cover

The PATTERN includes:
*a detailed materials list
*lots of large colored photographs
*detailed, step by step instructions
*my favorite techniques with photos
*printable paper patterns

Basic sewing skills are needed to make this quiet book.

Due to small pieces which may present a choking hazard, this book is not recommended for children under the age of three.

FAQs

Because of the quantity of products I make, I use a lot of inexpensive craft felt. I purchase it at local craft and fabric stores. For special projects, especially items I consider "heirloom quality," I love to use wool-blend felt. Your local fabric stores sell basic colors. There are various Etsy shops where you can find a wide color selection of wool-blend felt.
