Description

When you buy a vintage linen you're not just buying fabric and thread - you're buying a piece of someone's past. One of the things I enjoy most about my businesses is picking up vintage pieces and wondering about the people who had them before. What was their life like? Were they happy? What was their home like and how was it decorated? These pieces will now live on with those of us who understand their beauty.

Days of the Week Dishtowels were a popular hope chest item for young women getting ready to set up their own homes. Often daily chores were depicted in the embroidery and this towel shows that Saturdays were meant for scrubbing floors. Days of the Week towels are perfect for your retro kitchen or throw them over a card table for a luncheon with friends.

This vintage flour sack towel measures 38" square and is in good vintage condition. The embroidery is in the bottom right hand corner and measures 6 3/4 W x 8 1/4 L.
Please Note: Vintage items have most likely been used and enjoyed and will therefore show signs of their age, which just adds to their character. I do my best to note any major flaws or marks. Additional photos are always available upon request.
