Description

If your household can't agree on whether to decorate with kick-ass movie posters or with vintage French advertisements, may I offer this compromise?

One lazy afternoon I was flipping through channels and landed on a station showing the 2002 Jason Statham action spectacle THE TRANSPORTER. Having never before seen it, I was struck by two things:

1. How awesome it was.
2. how very, very FRENCH it was.

Rare is the action film that mixes style and kinetic action so well. Basically, I loved it.

So when I had the opportunity to participate in an action movie themed art show, I KNEW this movie deserved a tribute. I drew and designed this poster inspired by one of the film's best fight scenes, mixed with the influence of Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec's Moulin Rouge posters from the late 19th century. It somehow felt appropriate, and fortunately I had a French-speaking friend who agreed and helped with the translations.

You will receive a high-quality print from the digital file on professional quality photo paper. The image area is 11"x17", but I've included a .5" white border on all sides bringing overall paper dimensions to 12"x18"
