The traditional anniversary gift for 5 years is wood, this ornament is a great way to commemorate that special day.

Each ornament comes in a 100% recycled paper gift box.

No trees are ever damaged in the making of our products. Each ornament I make is from a fallen tree limb. Either fallen on my property, or found on one of our hikes through the forest. We would never advocate carving your initials into a living tree.

The ornament is sliced from the branch and sanded in three steps before I wood burn an organic design onto it. Each image is done free hand, so no two are exactly alike. Finished with a water based poly, for a satiny smooth finish. The finish is also essential to prevent cracking or damage to your wooden keepsake.

Ornament size is approximately 3" Diameter

Naturally occurring imperfections are present in every piece of wood. Nothing is perfect, but that's what we love about Nature! We are currently using spalted maple for our ornaments.

We will be happy to customize any of our pieces for you. If there is NOT a back inscription option in the drop down menu, please message BEFORE ordering. Back inscriptions usually cost an additional $5-$10. If you order a plain ornament but ask for a back inscription, your order will need to be canceled and a new order of the proper amount placed before your inscription will be burned onto your piece.

Back inscriptions can not be burned onto an existing finished ornament, a new one will be created for you.

This custom wood keepsake really is just beautiful! It's exactly what I wanted. I like that it's real wood (not some kind of resin), and I love that it's so personalized. I absolutely love this ornament for my girlfriend. It comes in the sweetest bag so I don't even have to wrap it. Feels genuine, heartfelt and personal - which is just what I was looking for. It was a tiny bit more than I wanted to spend but what I have received feels well worth it. I also deeply appreciate that the wood was not cut down. Thank you!
