An 8mm large all natural Czech moldavite (a tektite, a mineral formed when a meteor hit the earth near Moldova, melted terrestrial sand and melted meteor fused and was hurled up into the atmosphere where it cooled and fell back to Earth as a beautiful green gem) is set in a rope edged bezel slide with three high luster keshi (non-nucleated - solid nacre) freshwater pearl dangles, sliding on an 18 inch rope chain. All solid sterling silver. Domestic shipping is free.

I bought a parcel of tiny rounds and some 3x5 ovals way back in 2005 from a large well known jewelry manufacturer as close outs. All other moldavite stones including these 8mm rounds in my inventory were stones that started their life with me in the rough and predate 2012. When I still exhibited in Tucson I used to buy raw moldavite from a reputable Czech dealer. I actually still have a parcel of rough from my last year there and have not yet sent it out for faceting. All of this is to say that there is now man-made moldavite on the market and not every seller is honest about their moldavite being man made and I want to assure you that all the moldavite I have is genuine and if should you so desire I can provide you source information to back this up. Please keep in mind that if a price is too good to be true then it probably isn’t genuine. Genuine moldavite has always carried a decent price tag, so keep this in mind when you see sellers offering low price moldavite in quantity.
