Pearly Ivory DIY Pocketfold Envelopes, 285gsm 5x7" Portrait, with Pocket & fold-over Flap - Brown/White Envelopes - Button Magnets available

Quality Ivory Pearlescent 5x7" pocketfold with Kraft brown envelopes for creating your own invitation pack. These are cut to size and pre-creased ready for easy assembling with either double-sided sticky tape or glue. Please see below for the full list of available colours via other listings. We strongly recommend ordering a sample before placing a full order so that you can check colour and size (5x7" cards do NOT fit inside. Please see sizing below for details).

You can have us do the fiddly job of gluing them for you (55p each). Please request a custom order for this. For samples, we’ll glue one per customer/order for free if requested.

A NOTE TO SHIPPING
Due to the way shipping is added on Etsy, it is not possible to set a shipping price that applies for a single sample as well as for a larger order of pocketfolds. For this reason, samples are priced very low as the shipping you will be charged makes up the cost of that sample. The shipping will be applied for each sample ordered. This is not an error. Please get in touch if you require more information.

Single Sample FLAT – This will come flat for you to glue yourself
Single Sample GLUED – This will come pre-glued by us so that you can see the finished pocketfold. Please note that we will only glue one pocketfold per customer/order.

BUTTON MAGNETS
We have some fantastic little round button magnets that make closing and opening the pocketfolds really convenient and easy peasy. Simply stick these onto the inside of the flap and in the corresponding position on the closed pocketfold.
The magnets and mini stickers will be supplied in separate stacks for you to attach yourself. This is because each one needs to be lined up correctly as you fold and close the pocketfold. You will receive 2 per pocketfold with peel and stick stickers attached. Simply peel off the sticker and attach them. Check out our video for a ‘how to’ guide (ask us for a link or use the QR code on the card supplied with your order. Remember to stick them the right way around so that the poles attract!

SIZING
When folded the portrait pocketfolds fit neatly into a 5x7" envelope. We do not offer other sizes at this time. Here are some further measurements:

Closed the pocketfold measures 12.7cm x 17.cm on the outside
Front flap is approximately 6.4cm to its point
Height of the inside flap is 6.1cm rising to 9.8cm at the sides

Invitation is approx. 11.6 x 16.6 cm
Additional Card A/Large is approx. 11.6 x 16.6 cm (same size as invitation)
Additional Card B/Medium is approx. 11.6 x 13.6 cm
Additional Card C/Small is approx. 11.6 x 10.6 cm

ASSEMBLING
Assembling requires nothing more than glue or double-sided sticky tape, time, and patience! We find the best way is to use a genuine Pritt stick. Lay the pocketfold out on a flat surface with the smoother side down. Fold the 2 small flaps in and then fold the pocket up. Use the closed Pritt stick, lid down, to crisp the folded edges. This will make it easier when gluing. Open the pocket and apply glue to the 2 small, folded flaps. Fold the pocket back up and press together. Place a weight, such as some heavy books on it and leave it for a few minutes to allow the glue to dry. Once dry you can glue your invitation to the central section and tuck any other cards into the newly created pocket. Fold the whole thing closed and finish with a button magnet, wax seal, twine & tag, or a sleeve. We can create personalised tags and sleeves and even the invitation cards. DISPATCH TIMES & SHIPPING
Flat pocketfolds are normally dispatched in 3 working days. For glued pocketfolds please allow 6 full working days for dispatch especially during busy periods. Postal strikes affect our dispatch times. If unsure, please check with us in advance.

Our Next Day and Two-Day delivery options are only available to mainland UK! For all deliveries to the islands or highlands, including Northern Ireland, please contact us for a quote if ordering 50 or more pocketfolds. Once parcels are too heavy for standard Royal Mail post, prices can increase to these areas. We will always do our best to find the best shipping rate for any order so please just get in touch.
